August Homeless Ministry Update

If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? 1 John 3:17

We are continuing to minister in Jesus' name to the hungry in the Orlando area.

The next outing will be Sunday, August 24th. Please be ready to depart immediately after the 9:30 AM worship service.

Seekers of Wisdom - Adult Class

The adult Sunday school class has begun studying the book of Exodus, using Be Delivered: Finding Freedom by Following God written by Warren W. Wiersbe as a study guide.

Chapters 1-4 address the following questions:

  • What special tasks did God give Israel to accomplish on the earth?
  • What five reasons did Moses give for not accepting God’s call?
  • What five encouragements did God give to Moses as he stepped out in faith?
  • How would you define freedom? How can freedom be misused?
  • How should it be properly used?
  • When, if ever, is civil disobedience the right choice?
  • What is true humility?

    Come read the Scriptures for yourself and discover their relevance in today’s world.

    • Looking for Ladies' Tea Hostesses

    Fellowship is looking for someone who is willing to be the hostess for a Ladies tea. We would like to have a Saturday morning Brunch/tea in March and again in August. If you are interested in hosting a tea or just want to find out what would be involved talk to Catherine Mantz or Cassie Schauff.

    February Homeless Outreach Update

    Despite the rainy weather and an other group that had served food earlier in the day we fed over 130 people on January 27th. Thank you to the many people that participated.
